Thanks for stopping by!!! Leander Farms is a
small rabbitry located in western Michigan. I (Jen)
have had rabbits as pets since i was young. We
became a registered rabbitry in 2007. I have spent
the last two years adding Lionhead rabbits from all
over the country to my herd. My husband (Ash) just
shakes his head when i head off on another road
trip to pick up rabbits.
My husband and I are high school sweethearts.
We have been together for 8 years and were
married January 6, 2007. Our children are our
animals. We love critters of many shapes and
sizes. We currently have two dogs, three
chickens, three ducks, and... too many bunnies to
count. We are in the process of purchasing a
bigger home and i promise more critters are
coming!
I suppose you may be wondering where
Soberalski Farms plays in all this. Well my "BFF"
Michelle is usually on those "rabbit road trips" with
me. She was bit by the lionhead bug on one of our
trips and now has a few of her own. She has some
very spoiled goats, a horse, donkey, and a pony.
There are a few dogs and cats as well. I love
hanging with her and her critters.
Ash has an Associates Degree in Culinary Arts
and is working on a Bachelors in Hotel and
Restaurant Management. We hope to have our own
catering business someday. I am a professional
student...well it feels like ot anyway. I am a LPN and
currently finishing my associates degree in
nursing. As i write this i have 7 weeks left...not that
i am counting. I will be taking my RN boards later
this summer.
We have some very ambitious goals, hopes, and
dreams for the future. You may have noticed
Hercules, our Male Rottie. We Love this breed and
hope to get into showing and breeding very soon.
Also, we are hoping to show lionheads seriously
this upcoming year. (it has been hard to travel w/
school). Who knows maybe we will think about
having some human kids someday.
